On Being a Scholar and Teacher
As a college-level educator for over two decades, I’m honored to have been a part of the educational journey of thousands of students.
My pedagogy is student-centered, and I’m ever conscious of how classroom climate and power dynamics can influence learning.
With an emphasis on high standards and accountability, the classroom is a space where students learn the skills to be critical thinkers, analytical consumers of knowledge, compassionate helpers, and responsible, informed citizens.
The education of college students is inherently a shared, reciprocal, and collaborative undertaking, and it is my privilege to work with top-rate educators and administrators who see also see education as a path to liberation.
